Overview
In the Applied Sciences, the use of
mathematical modeling and calibration tools ranging from partial
differential equations to stochastic analysis and numerical methods has
been growing steadily during the past few decades. Calibration
techniques, in turn, require handling highly complex and ill-posed
problems. This special quarter is geared towards bringing together a
number of researchers and graduate students working in different aspects of Inverse Problems.
Invited Participants
Uri Ascher (UBC, Canada)
Daniela Calvetti (Case Western, USA)
Alberto Grunbaum (UCB, USA)
Tom Hurd (McMaster, Canada)
Antonio Leitão (UFSC, Brazil)
Erkki Somersalo (Case Western, USA)
